Setting Up Email in Outlook (Windows)

Configure Microsoft Outlook to send and receive emails from your hosting account.

Before You Start

You'll need:
• Your email address
• Email password
• Mail server settings (available in cPanel)

Getting Mail Server Settings

1. Log into cPanel
2. Go to "Email Accounts"
3. Click "Connect Devices" next to your email
4. Note down the server settings

Setting Up Outlook

1. Open Outlook
2. Go to File > Add Account
3. Select "Manual setup or additional server types"
4. Choose "POP or IMAP"
5. Enter your information:

  • Your Name: Your display name
  • Email Address: Your full email address
  • Account Type: IMAP (recommended) or POP3
  • Incoming Server: From cPanel settings
  • Outgoing Server: From cPanel settings
  • Username: Your full email address
  • Password: Your email password

6. Click "More Settings"
7. Go to "Outgoing Server" tab
8. Check "My outgoing server requires authentication"
9. Go to "Advanced" tab
10. Set port numbers from cPanel
11. Click OK, then Next, then Finish
