Using cPanel File Manager

File Manager lets you upload, edit, and manage your website files directly through your browser.

Accessing File Manager

1. Log into cPanel
2. Find "File Manager" in the Files section
3. Click to open

Navigating Folders

  • public_html - Your main website files go here
  • public_html/wp-content - WordPress themes, plugins, uploads
  • mail - Email data
  • logs - Website access and error logs

Common File Manager Tasks

Upload Files:
1. Navigate to the desired folder
2. Click "Upload"
3. Select files or drag and drop
4. Files will upload automatically

Create New File/Folder:
1. Click "+ File" or "+ Folder"
2. Enter the name
3. Click "Create"

Edit Files:
1. Right-click on a file
2. Select "Edit"
3. Make your changes
4. Click "Save Changes"
